Knee arthroscopy is a common procedure used to treat issues such as meniscus tears, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, loose bodies, and patellar (kneecap) problems. The procedure involves making small incisions in the knee to allow the arthroscope and surgical instruments to enter the joint. The surgeon can then diagnose and treat the problem guided by images sent from the arthroscope.

Ankle Arthroscopy

Ankle arthroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat ankle conditions like arthritis, fractures, instability, and soft tissue damage. The procedure, similar to other joint arthroscopies, involves inserting the arthroscope through small incisions made in the ankle. This allows the surgeon to evaluate and treat the area under direct visualization.

Arthroscopy of the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ)

TMJ arthroscopy is a diagnostic and therapeutic tool for TMJ disorders, often used when non-surgical treatments have been unsuccessful. The procedure involves inserting a small arthroscope into the joint space to visualize the area, helping the surgeon to identify and treat issues such as internal derangement, arthritis, or synovitis.

Arthroscopy Meniscectomy

Arthroscopy meniscectomy is a procedure specifically targeting meniscus tears in the knee. The menisci are two pieces of cartilage that act as a cushion between the thighbone and the shinbone. During the procedure, the surgeon inserts the arthroscope to visualize the torn meniscus and uses specialized tools to trim or repair the damaged area.
